In practical terms, “Remix Culture” is built on four pillars that emphasise the special features of the region, its history, its geography as well as its inhabitants: For artist Lex Weyer, the design of this stamp booklet was a first: “I simplified the themes, made them more abstract, and then drew them freely in colour to create a mood. Of course, it’s not possible to include many details on a small surface, so it’s especially important to depict the themes through a differentiated colour scheme and an illustration using a symbolic character.”
